What are common orthopedic disorders? A good question and the answer to this question is quite a bit. They are not all so common, but some of them are very common indeed. Some of the more common ones are Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ovarian Cysts, Facet Arthropathy, Joint Stress, Osteoporosis, Osteomyelitis, Back Pain, Hemorrhoids, Skin Lumps, Hemorrhoids, Impingement, Stress Hormones, etc. Now some of these have more risk factors than others, so it depends on what type of Common Orthopedic Disorder you have what type of risk factor.

Rheumatoid Arthritis is caused by overactive white blood cells in your body that causes inflammation. The inflammation is usually in your joints and can cause very intense pain, sometimes even being unbearable. Common symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis are usually swelling, redness and joint stiffness. If it progresses to be a full blown Arthritis then you may also experience fatigue and/or weight loss. Most of the time, you’ll know if you have Rheumatoid Arthritis if you have persistent swelling and/or pain after exercise.

Ovarian Cysts can be painful both during and after intercourse. It usually occurs on the outer part of the uterus and causes a lot of pain. Sometimes bleeding can occur, as well, with severe cases there may even be pain while urinating or during menstruation. Rarely but sometimes a cyst can actually block the tubes that transport the egg from the ovary to the uterus.

Facet Arthropathy is caused by small “blisters” growing on the sides and back of the spine. These often appear red, irritated or tender and can be extremely painful, even debilitating. In some cases they may crack or bleed. Facet Arthropathy is most common on the right side of the back and can cause severe pain on the side of the back closest to the spine.

This is a routine visit for him or her to monitor how your body is reacting to certain stresses or to help them decide how best to care for you. You should always be aware of what is happening to your body and why. If you are uncomfortable with what your doctor is telling you, don’t be afraid to ask questions and do more research on your own.
